What do these courses entail?
Year 10 General In the Year 10 course students will further their interrogation how texts may offer representations of societal groups, places and events while opening windows into the historical and cultural contexts to which they are linked. They will also commence study of how different perspectives and voices may be embodied in and communicated through a variety of texts. Assessments are strategically devised to ensure students may draw on both critical (analytical) and creative thinking strategies to enjoy suitable growth and success. Text types include:
