What do these courses entail?
Dance The Dance course has a strong practical focus, challenging students’ artistic and physical abilities. Students work in a variety of dance genres with courses in both semesters featuring at least one public performance giving students the opportunity to connect with the community. Beginner and experienced dancers are encouraged to enrol in the Dance course and will be equally challenged. As part of the course Year 10 Dance, students from Kolbe work in a partnership with the students from Rockingham Beach Education Support Centre and the children from the Rockingham Early Learning and Child Care Centre (RELACCC), performing to a range of audiences. Through these partnerships, the students learn how to teach and learn alongside students with different abilities and how powerful dance is in society.
