What does the course entail?

Given the enormous possibilities available within the Technologies Learning Area, it is imperative that some basic skills and understandings about these possibilities be instilled in students before choosing electives for Year 8. Therefore the Year 7 curriculum has been set so that all students will complete courses in Materials Technology, Food Technology and Textiles Technology. Information Computer Technology is imbedded in these courses giving students opportunities to develop some basic competencies in computer technologies. In Year 8, 9 and beyond, students will choose to study some of these courses as electives. |
